City Quay Church
Young Adults Retreat in Glendalough
When:
Saturday the 23rd of March 9am – 5pm (Returning for 6 pm mass in City Quay) Option of pizza after Mass.
Where:
A bus will take us from City Quay Church or nearby parking area to Glendalough when we will take a pilgrim approach to this amazing setting.
Who:
Any member of our worshipping community who considers themselves to be a young adult. (18-35 years of age). You must be over eighteen years of age to participate.
Fr Alan Hilliard who has vast experience leading days of retreat for students in Glendalough will guide us the day.
What:
Please bring a packed lunch and drinking water. Walking boots that give ankle protection are advisable and don’t wear a new pair – make sure they are broken in or they may cause you considerable pain. The area will cover is quite short but there are some small hills.
Cost: Participants are invited to donate. If attending the meal, the money will be collected beforehand and the choices on the menu will be outlined.
We will return for Mass in City Quay, and we will give an option to meet for pizza after mass to continue the enjoyment of the day.
