City Quay and Westland Row -Holy Week
We will have one Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper between City Quay and Westland Row Churches which will take place in City Quay Church at 4.40pm on that day. There will be no Celebration of the Lords Supper on Holy Thursday in Westland Row.
Both Churches will celebrate The Lord’s Passion at 3pm on Good Friday and Stations of the Cross at 12 noon. There will be one Easter Vigil in Westland Row at 11 pm. There will be no Easter Vigil in City Quay.
The reason for the merging of the Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday celebrations into one location is that both will be broadcast by RTE. Please be in your seat 15 minutes before commencement of ceremonies. We are fortunate that one of Ireland’s leading Soprano’s Celine Byrne will join us for these liturgies.
